7. Chia Spiced Banana Bread
These easy breakfast alternative is great for those extremely short on time. Simply bake this on Sunday night and breakfast sorted all week long. Traditional banana bread can contain up to 11 teaspoons of sugar per serve. Banana bread bought from the super market can be extremely sugar-heavy, with a single slice containing 22.3g of sugar. This is roughly the same as a krispy kreme original glazed donut.
This alternative contains sweetness only from whole bananas making it a low sugar, guilt free option.
Banana's also have many health benefits. These include being high in fibre, potassium, resistant starch, vitamin B^ and can also help neutralise high sodium levels.
